about me

Oh bloggy bloggy blogster, i’m sorry i have neglected you!

I’ll summarize that past few months to catch you up, OK?

  • I’m back in Vermont. Oh, it’s so lovely. I work for family, and you’d think we were Italian by the way we fight daily, and makeup daily. Alas, we’re not Italian. But we sure know how to make delicious cider donuts!
  • I’ve started a little side photography business. Just a hobby, one I’m REALLY enjoying! Have you seen my photos? Well you should. Go here.
  • I have another side part time job working for my own who does color analysis and sells her own line of cosmetics. We are working on her website right now, that hopefully will go live in the next couple months!
  • I’m obsessed with anything and everything photography. I spend my afternoons after my 5am work shift making (and eating) donuts, browsing photography blogs, websites, and learning from the BEST. There is MAJOR talent out there. To name a few? Go here. And here. And here.
  • I like to spend my free time watching the Etsy recently listed items pop up. I have yet to buy anything, but there is SO much i want!

Other than that, nothing else exciting is going on. I’m getting my fill of watermelon. I still haven’t hopped on the Twilight train. And i really need a vacation. 🙂

The lovely lady Brooke over at oh my seven, emailed me this little questionnaire that is making the rounds in the blogsphere….so a mere two weeks later i will answer her questions!

1.  If you could wear only one outfit for the rest of your life, what would you pick?  And why? Jeans, a t-shirt, flip-flops and a hooded sweatshirt. I really love wearing flip-flops when i have nicely manicured toes too!

2.  “Yes” is the answer.  What is the question? Am i addicted anything and everything to do with Hollywood and celebrities? YES! I follow all the major gossip sites, newspapers and watch the evening celeb news shows. I know as much about celebrities as most guys know about sports.

3.  If you could go back and change one thing about your life, what would it be?  Why?After knowing what i know now, i should have never moved out of Boston.  For the 2 years i lived there i didn’t think it was so great, but since Boston i have lived in NC and TN, and neither have worked out. Looking back, i had a great life in Boston and had i given it more time i think it would have only gotten even better….an apt a block from the ocean, much higher paying jobs, a good church, solid group of friends, and a roommate who didn’t annoy me. One day i’ll figure it out and learn from my mistakes!

4.  Which TV character do you most identify with? My first gut reaction to this question is Kitty Walker on “Brothers & Sisters”. I have no idea why, but i love her character and she just fascinates me.

5.  Are you a sweet or salty snacker?  What’s your favorite thing to munch on?I gravitate more often towards salty snacks….and if i could munch on anything it would be chips…chips of any kind! If I’m in the mood for something sweet, i usually reach for the ice cream. 🙂

There you be.
If anyone is looking for a little inspiration and would like to be interviewed, just follow the steps below:

1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions. (please make sure I have your email cause that helps when trying to actually email someone)
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions. Be sure you link back to my post.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

1. Earl grey tea. I am newly addicted.

2. Reruns of 7th Heaven. So cheesy, but i still love it.

3. Tatiana finally got kicked of American Idol. I couldn’t have lasted the season had she stayed!

4. Text messaging…such an easy and fast way to stay in touch with friends.

5. One more day of work, then i’m off tomorrow. Finally!

1. Homemade strawberry-banana yogurt smoothies….i have mastered them and they are delish!

2. DVR…i can work nights and never miss an episode of The Bachelor or American Idol.

3. DVR…fast-forwarding through commericals with ease!

4. The journal my roommate gave me for Christmas. I love it.

5. Daily vitamins…keep me from getting sick!

1. The gorgeous dozen red roses i got at work last night…for free…because there were so many leftover. Don’t judge….they are beautiful! That was just enough for me on valentines.

2. A comfortable bed. I was not happy about getting out of it this morning.

3. Flannel pj pants….i got 4 pairs for Christmas and i’m happily enjoying all of them in the cold weather.

4. Hot showers.

5. Finding a great church here. It makes me excited to go and every Sunday is just awesome.

1. Finding out that one of my best friends is having a GIRL! I am wicked excited and it will make shopping for her so much more fun!

2. Greek yogurt with honey…my newest addiction. Delish!

3. Being able to sleep as late as i want to…i enjoy not waking up to an alarm clock.

4. Real Simple magazine…i wish it came out every week instead of once a month.

5. Working on valentine’s night…that way i’ll be distracted from thinking about being single. 🙂

To the handful of you who read this blog, you’ve probably been wondering where i’ve disappeared to.

The answer is….nowhere.

I’m still here. Just somewhat avoiding the blog world, only to read others and let mine fall by the wayside.

Honestly, i just haven’t had much to say. My life is fairly un-exciting. I work, i sleep, i eat, and that’s pretty much it. I read so many blogs daily that i LOVE and sometimes i feel like i’m a much better blog reader than blog writer. I always hope that they will inspire me to update mine, but then i think what i have to say isn’t so exciting.

I’m still in Nashvegas. Still at Trader Joe’s. Still trying to figure out God’s plan for my life. You would think it would be a fascinating life always full of suprises and changes, but really it’s just kind of frustrating. I will try to make a return to blogging. I like being able to keep up with my friends and i know that it’s mostly friends who read this.

So in short, nothing is new. One thing i’m grateful these days is the warmer weather….oh summer, where art thou?
