I’ll be moving here!!

Nashville, TN

I’m wicked excited to see what God has in store for me there…I just know it’s going to be a very good change! I’ll keep you posted.

ps- I don’t have a job yet…so if you hear of anything, let me know! 🙂

I’m still just finding my way….

I don’t know if there is any truth to this…but it makes me sad if it is true. I just don’t get scientology AT ALL. It’s so bizarre to me…anyways…read this (i found this on perez hilton, which explains the “wtf”):

We revealed yesterday that Katie Holmes has been wearing gloves and long sleeve shirts to cover her freakily discolored hands.

We thought she was sporting purple hands for her appearance on ABC’s Eli Stone.

But, a few insiders in the know informed us that Katie might have taken part in a Scientology purification ritual that caused her hands to go purple.

According to reports, the purification ritual is called the Purification Rundown or Purif.

Peeps going through the process take ‘vitamin bombs’ to get ‘toxins’ out of their bodies.

A source says that in almost every single case, Scientology founder Hubbard recommends dosages in his teachings that are well above the safe limits, in some cases as much as 142 times more than the toxic level. The side effects of such huge overdoses range from liver damage, hair loss, brain swelling and nausea up to fatal heart and respiratory failure.

The cleanse also prescribes huge doses of something called niacin. A report says large doses of niacin can cause liver damage, peptic ulcers, and skin rashes. Even normal doses can be associated with skin flushing.

Poor Katie.

I have a new love. His name is Corel. He’s patient, very kind to me, forgets the past with the click of a button, and makes everything in life look spectacular. You might have heard of him. His full name is Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. 🙂

I recently got a new Nikon for my birthday. Photography has always been a love of mine, but i new things would only get better with a better camera….step 1. After a year of following so many beautiful photography blogs, i realized “wait, these pictures aren’t always taken so perfectly, they get EDITED to look this way!” Which leads to step 2…

Yes, the light-bulb went off. So i asked Elizabeth, whom i went to college with and whose blog i LOVE for the pictures (wicked talented!), what editing program she uses. Finally, a program for people who don’t have Macs…Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2! I did some research, bought a book, got a free 30 day trial of the program, and i love love love it! It’s a good start into the world of photo editing….I’m sure there are much more complicated programs! But for someone who has never taken any photography classes i highly recommend it! And thanks Elizabeth for the fantastic advice!

I recently did a little photo shoot with the girls we babysit once a month and their parents…here are just a few:

We played this game with the teen group during their recreation time the church conference in PA last week. It was seriously one of the funniest things i have ever seen!

The name of the game is “The 50 Yard Scream”.

The objective: Run as fast as you can, as far as you can, all while screaming. When you can scream no more, stop where you are. The point is then to run farther than the farthest person thus far.

Definitely one of the highlights of the week in the teen group!

I just got back from being in PA all week on vacation. I am wicked over-tired, my legs ache from all the walkin, and my eyes cannot wait to be shut for more than 4 hours a night. I need sleeeep.

I miss everyone who was there. It’s sad to know i won’t see most of them until next summer.

Tomorrow I’ll update with pictures. I think i took hundreds. Oh boy….just thinking about going through all the pictures makes me tired. But for now, here’s a preview… 🙂
